About
Fernanda Filgueiras Sauerbronn holds a Ph.D. in Management from FGV-EBAPE (2005-2009). She has a BA in Economics from UFRJ (1995) and MSc in Public Administration from FGV-EBAPE (1999-2001), and had a visiting period as postdoctoral researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, with prof. Norman Denzin (CAPES scholarship). She is an Associate Professor at FACC/UFRJ, teaching at the Graduate Program in Accounting. She currently coordinates the Graduate Program in Accounting (Master and Ph.D.) and the certification Programm in Public Management. Fernanda was elected to the Division Chair Track of the Academy of Management, Division Critical Management Studies (period 2018-2023). Additionally, she is a member of the editorial board of Organization (Sage Journal), QROM (Qualitative Research in Organization and Management) and Accounting History Review and was editor of the journal Society, Accounting, and Management (Brazil). She develops critical studies on agency and governance in the public-private interface.
