My research focuses on risk management and governance, the interaction of humans and accounting technologies and the politics in the construction of managerial discourses. My PhD thesis was related to the challenges and opportunities of risk-management implementation in the banking sector, considering risk (sub-)culture(s), controllability discourses and expert's identities. Nowadays, I am exploring themes, such as impacts of the digital revolution for risk management practices and the creation of organisational resilience. My background in quantitative and qualitative research and both professional and deep theoretical understanding of the implementation and institution of risk management practices allows me to be abreast of the recent trends and best practices in Enterprise Risk Management and have direct access to professionals from different hierarchical levels in this area.
