Who am I?
I am a Professor in Accounting at the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China.
My academic career spans more than 30 years, teaching auditing and management accounting to undergraduate and graduate students. More recent teaching has focuced on accounting ethics and related areas (e.g. auditing, forensic accounting and governance).
I am a productive researcher with a focus on ‘professional ethics’ and ‘education’. I have published several manuscripts in leading peer reviewed journals and two textbooks on accounting ethics and governance.
I believe the key to world-class research is to work collaboratively in teams with scholars from diverse disciplines. Multi and inter-disciplinary collaboration enhances the exchange of ideas and skills to solve problems whose solutions are beyond the scope of a single field of research practice.
