My research interests focus on LGBTI diversity and inclusion within the accounting profession, water management and water accounting, financial accounting, other accounting tools in support of sustainability management initiatives (including input-output analysis), and the role for accountants in water accounting and sustainability management. Methodologically, I am interested in the richness and complexity of case studies utilising interview processes, but also enjoys making sense of related developments through publicly availed documentation. My research interests stem primarily from practical challenges emerging in industry, and the innovations and developments that occur in response to those challenges. Recent research explores LGBTI diversity developments within the ‘Big 4’ professional services firms, understandings of the ‘true and fair’ requirement within financial reporting processes, and water management in Ghana.
